Le Corbusier’s bust sits in the Palm Court

Originally installed atop the Cité radieuse (Radiant City), one of Le Corbusier's most famous and influential buildings, Veilhan puts himself in direct conversation with the architect and his buildings. Here, Le Corbusier, and his characteristic circular glasses, overlooks another modern master’s work: the Fly’s Eye Dome by Buckminster Fuller.

Museum Garage includes a DJ platform, lending library and an art gallery

WORKac’s facade consists of a four foot thickened space that allows for a vertical progression of public spaces, including a graffiti art gallery, children’s play area, a garden, a DJ platform, lending library, listening lounge, fountain, bar, car washing/charging station, and space for pets. The seven-storey cast-concrete building, known as Museum Garage, was designed and engineered by Miami studio Tim Haahs with project manager Javier Sánchez.

Support system by Dozie Kanu with climbing frames for children

The Miami Design District’s 2018 holiday commission was awarded to Dozie Kanu, and has now become a permanent part of the District. Kanu sheds light on the importance of curiosity, specifically geared towards children, to trim the neighborhood in a fantasy playscape. The installation includes large-scale climbing frames installed around the neighborhood.
