Saturday:

Sunday:

Be sure to arrive a few hours before sunset! If you arrive too close to sunset you might be denied entry because there isn’t enough time to drive up and back down. There’s a $10 access fee per vehicle which we paid in cash. Enjoy the long, winding road to the top (yes you can drive all the way to the summit). The drive was half the fun! Keep an eye out for other cars and cyclists too, who can come flying down the road. We took in the views, then did a little hiking on the trails, and got back to the historic stone building at the top for sunset. On a clear day you can see the mountains to the East and the sun reflecting off the Bay to the West. See if you can spot the Golden Gate Bridge too! Special thanks to Achal, a nearby local, who showed me this gem!
