The Oklahoma National Guard Museum, formally known as the 45th Infantry Museum, is the nation’s largest state operated military history museum depicting the military history of Oklahoma and the 45th Infantry Division. With displays from 1541 through Desert Storm, the museum includes the country’s third largest collection of historic U.S. military firearms and the world’s largest collection of items once owned by Adolf Hitler.

The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial stands on the now-sacred ground where the events of April 19, 1995, unfolded. What was once the footprint of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, Fifth Street, the Athenian Building and Oklahoma Water Resources Board are now the Field of Empty Chairs, Reflecting Pool and Rescuers’ Orchard. The Outdoor Memorial is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

A tour of the Oklahoma State Capitol is a must for any art, history or civics buff. The historic building, which completed a full restoration in 2022, is home to hundreds of artworks located throughout six floors of rotundas, corridors, and galleries. Guided tours of the Oklahoma State Capitol are available at no cost on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tours are provided by volunteer docents trained by the Oklahoma Arts Council. The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame is a one of a kind facility that honors hundreds of great Oklahomans. The Museum highlights Oklahoma's greatest athlete, Jim Thorpe and the distinguished members of the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame.
