What many don't know is that there is a small distillery that takes its name from this landmark. Stonehouse Distillery is located in Winston Montana, and if you look off the back of the property, you can see the old stone house.

How to get to Stonehouse Distillery Stonehouse Distillery, 37 Muffley Lane, Winston, MT 59647 From Helena, travel east along Highway 287 for about 24 miles. As you approach Winston, Montana, you will see the Big Bull Bar. Before you pass the Big Bull Bar, turn right on Beaver Creek Road and cross the train tracks. Continue up Muffley Lane for just over 1 mile, you’ll find Stonehouse Distillery off to the left at the top of the road.
