The Halfway House Cafe has been open since 1931. In the early 1900's, the farmers from Palmdale and the LA Market met here as a trading post. Because it's halfway between LA and Palmdale, the name "Halfway House' was born. In the 1960's, the café caught the attention of Hollywood and as a result, numerous movies, television shows and commercials have been filmed here. Come to see a piece of history and stay for the Huevos Rancheros, Eggs Benedict, French Dip Sandwich or the Haymaker Burger.
