Golf “FORE” everyone. The newly built Campbell River Golf and Country Club offers a fun and inclusive course that is suitable for both beginners and experienced golfers. Keep score or just count laughs, wear golf spikes or not. This is golf…only better. In 2017 they completely remodelled the course with golf architect Graham Cooke from ‘Northern Course Design’ and veteran superintendent Greg Austin; they kept the mature trees, but otherwise, this 18-hole, 6,141-yard course is brand new! A resort course in character, the fairways are wide and long, which are perfect for less experienced players. Though there are sand and water hazards on 16 of the 18 holes, the greens are deceptively tricky and watch the rough – the par 70 can be challenging or achievable.
