Our July 4th events each year bring together thousands of visitors, transforming our small beach town into a lively coastal destination. From the town parade featuring hand-built floats to the Front Street Faire and sand sculpture contest to the spectacular fireworks show from the Cayucos Pier, our Independence Day celebrations shouldn’t be missed! The biggest fundraiser for the Fireworks Show is the May Madness catered dinner party happening this Saturday May 25 starting 6 PM at Cayucos School auditorium. Tickets are selling fast with only a few days left - find them now at Sea Shanty, Schooners, Beach Bums - Cayucos, Cayucos Chamber of Commerce, Nelson's Garage - The ticket for 2 includes dinner and entry into a reverse drawing for your chance to win up to $5000. Dog parade? Sign me up!

Calling all dog-lovers! The Lioness Club of Cayucos will be hosting their annual Easter Dog Parade from 12:00-1:00 pm on Saturday, March 30, starting at the Cayucos pier. The route proceeds down Front Street to Ocean Avenue and loops back to the pier. Please dress your pups in costumes if possible. Don’t have a pet in the parade? Everyone is encouraged to watch and cheer from the sidelines! This pawsitively fun event benefits the Cayucos Lioness Club, which supplies the Mutt Mitt doggy bags, dispensers, and trash receptacles for Cayucos beaches, beach accesses, and downtown Cayucos. There will be T-shirts for sale, a Mutt Mitts donation table and a free photo booth to capture the essence of your special furry friend. Free bunny ears will be given to two-legged participants while supplies last. Come join the fun and support the pawsome Mutt Mitt Program that helps keep our community welcoming and beautiful!

FUN CAYUCOS EVENT HELD EVERY JANUARY 1ST @ NOON MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR OUR 45TH ANNUAL DIP ON 1/1/25! Each year, thousands of brave individuals and teams converge on Cayucos Beach to start the new year with a dip into the Pacific Ocean! This is a favorite Cayucos Chamber of Commerce family-friendly event, in partnership with multiple county agencies. Commemorative t-shirts (designed by local Cayucos elementary school students!) and participant certificates available. Proceeds of shirt sales cover event costs and local Cayucos Chamber flagship events.
