56,500 square foot facility is located on Watson Island. It was designed by Arquitectonica International Inc., an award-winning Miami-based architecture and design firm. The building, for and about children, represents the elements of the world; earth, wind, water and fire. The facility includes 17 galleries, a preschool (ages 12 months – 5 years), a charter school (kindergarten – 5th grade), the KidSmart educational gift shop, a 200-seat auditorium, and a Subway restaurant.
