The Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile-long path through Boston that passes by 17 locations significant to the history of the United States, marked largely with brick. This building was given to the city of Boston as a gift from Peter Faneuil. The building is famous for for the meetings and the protest that led to the American Revolution. This is one of the most popular stops on the Freedom Trail. The Faneuil Hall Marketplace consists of four historic buildings. Here you will find many many shops, popular Boston dishes and entertainment.
