The wait can be long on weekends, but the Dwelley's set up an honor-system coffee station.

Chef Dan was able to experience the complexities first hand and relish in the artistry of a thinly sliced pastrami sandwich, delicately flavored matzo ball soup, fresh out-of-the-oven baked pastries, and perfectly boiled and baked bagels. Chef Daniel Elliot Pundik continues to make himself a household name in the who’s who of San Diego chefs. Working his way through the ranks of dishwasher to sous chef, Chef received his first Executive Chef designation at The Crossings in Carlsbad, CA. In 2014 Chef Dan opened the well known North County eatery, Local Tap House and Kitchen, where he has wowed patrons with dynamic menus of imaginative dishes. With Ryes and Grind, Chef Dan is doing what he does best, taking traditional favorites and giving them a fresh modern twist to delight the masses.

Toasted is a spin-off of Ladeki’s Toast Gastrobrunch in Carlsbad, California, which he opened about a year ago. The concept has performed so well in the San Diego-adjacent city, Ladeki says he had to give it a shot in Las Vegas.
