Many waterfalls in the Keweenaw are easily accessible just by parking your car and getting out! Eagle River Falls is a must-see, with a 60 foot drop. It is just a few steps away from where you park with a walkway across a bridge for up-close views. Visiting in early spring is the best time to visit any waterfall, although they are enjoyable year round.

3 Freda Stamp Mill Ruins Explore the ghost town of Freda and walk among the mining ruins

There are 18 total ghost towns to explore in the Keweenaw with its history of mining and logging. Use extreme caution while exploring. When visiting Freda, make sure you walk down to the beach to view the beautiful sandstone cliffs and man made waterfall!

There is no cell service out at High Rock Bay. You can also hike in via the main road, or by taking the nearly 20-mile Keweenaw Point Trail used by bikers, hikers and runners.
