There are several options but we chose to fly in and hike out of Mt Assiniboine
Kananaskis, AB
You can hike into Assiniboine or get a short helicopter flight in. We chose to fly in and hike out. The trailhead and helicopter are both at Mt Shark trailhead. The views over Kananaskis are spectacular as you fly in. Flights are booked through Assiniboine Lodge.
