Welcome to Bok Tower Gardens! This magical hidden gem is south of Orlando

Prepare to be in awe of Bok Tower Gardens! This hidden gem, and National Historic Landmark, can be found about an hour south of Orlando in the small city of Lake Wales. The focal point is the massive Singing Tower. Daily carillon concerts are held at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. so be sure to plan your visit accordingly.

The Singing Tower is so beautiful! You can hear it sing by visiting during daily carillon concerts at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. And, sometimes after concerts, you can actually meet carillonneur! He can tell you what it’s like to play this incredible instrument!

Explore El Retiro too! It’s a massive Mediterranean-style mansion

A trip to Bok Tower Gardens isn’t complete without visiting El Retiro, a 20-room Mediterranean-style mansion. You’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time to the 1930s! It costs $7 per adult, in addition to admission to Bok Tower Gardens, to take a look inside. Children, ages five to twelve, cost $5.

Docents guide small groups through the gorgeous rooms
