Fiestas de Las Americas

Fiestas de las Americas is the largest Latino festival in Oklahoma City. The event kicks off with the Parade of the Americas and offers a full day of family friendly activities, live entertainment, art and pop-up markets in the Historic Capitol Hill. Since its inception in 2006, the Festival and Parade has been an annual event, scheduled in the middle of Hispanic Heritage Month. Each year attendance and reach continue to grow along with additional experiences.

This two-day, fun-filled family festival showcases chuck wagon food samples, buttermaking with Ag in the Classroom, artisan demonstrations, bandanna decorating, live music, rope making with Ward Family Trick Ropers, Western re-enactors, face painting, children’s craft stations, photos with a longhorn, giant puzzles, dress up areas and more!

Each February, June and October, patrons make their way to the An Affair of the Heart show at State Fair Park where they are treated to one of the largest craft shows in the Southwest featuring more than 500 exhibitors from over 30 states displaying antiques, collectibles and handmade items.
