The Commemorative Air Force Central Texas Wing (CAF) Exhibit is located in San Marcos Texas and houses historic WWII warbirds that are maintained and restored in the vintage wooden hangar. There are also opportunities to take to the sky in some of the aircraft.

Several planes are kept in the CAF hangar including Bell P-39Q Airacobra Miss Connie, NAA B-25J Yellow Rose, Vultee BT-13 Valiant, a Cessna U-3A Administrator, Beech C-45 Expeditor Lone Star Lady, NAA AT-6 Texan, and the Douglas Sktrain C-47 That's All Brother.

"That's All, Brother" is one of the most iconic planes in the CAF hangar. “That's All, Brother” led a formation of more than 800 C-47s to Normandy in World War II on D-Day. The C-47s then dropped more than 13,000 paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions into battle. The name, which is painted on the front of the aircraft, was a message to Adolf Hitler. "That's All, Brother" makes appearances all over the world so make sure to call ahead to see if it's at the CAF when you're in San Marcos.

The CAF Central Texas Wing is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9AM-4PM. The museum and hangar exhibit is donation-based. Donations are encouraged to keep the airplanes maintained and flying.

The CAF Central Texas Wing also has a museum within the hangar showcasing memorabilia from WWII, The Vietnam War, The Gulf War, and more. All that is in the museum has been donated by families, veterans, and those who served in many different wars.
