In addition, its digital visibility approach continued to bear fruit with the production of the Luci TV programme broadcast live in three languages. Luci TV is Visit Luxembourg's travel show, produced live and streamed online. Travel professionals are invited to get to know travel experiences firsthand through travel reports, onsite interviews with partners and live interactions with viewers, all in a compact and entertaining way.

The target contacts were tour operators, coach operators, independent travel agencies, DMCs and the press. The objective was to create an emotional communication with the first tourist contacts, press and influencers. As a result of these events, Luxembourg is included in 40 tourism programmes in 2023, with participating tour operators. 70% of these tour operators watched one of the Luci TV episodes.

Workshops in Frankfurt and Madrid

The Networking Workshop in Frankfurt (Frankfurt Main Nizza, 16-18.09.2022) brought together 57 participants. The one in Madrid (28.11.2022) was attended by 62 tourism and media professionals, and resulted in 10 press articles and 2 radio interviews.

Tourism missions to Portugal, Dubai and Canada

LFT took part in tourism missions to Portugal, Dubai (Sales Mission), Italy and Canada (Montreal Cinemania Festival). The aim was on the one hand to increase awareness of Luxembourg as a travel destination, during initial contacts with local travel professionals and specialised media; and on the other hand, to analyse and better understand the structure of local business contacts.

Tourism workshop: Inspiring Travel and Meeting Experiences in Luxembourg

On 11 and 12 May, LFT and numerous partners met with local tourism professionals and the specialised press in Portugal to present Luxembourg as a destination. Luxembourg for Tourism’s promotional visit was part of the economic mission in Portugal, organised by the Chamber of Commerce, the Ministry of the Economy and the State Visit of TRH the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg to Lisbon.
