Inspired by childhood travels throughout Europe, the Lytton Family’s love of rolling vineyards across the Italian, French and Austrian countryside eventually brought them to Temecula Valley where they could create a winery destination of their own. Their dreams came to fruition in 2013 when they recognized the potential in a hilltop winery surrounded by endless views and sprawling vines. They purchased the property in 2014 and renamed it Avensole, a combination of “aventurra,” Italian for adventure, and “sole” meaning one of a kind.
