The 2022 season saw a dynamic, positive rebound thanks to the creativity and authenticity of the tourism sector. On October 3, Minister of Tourism Lex Delles presented the results of the 2022 tourism season. After a recovery in 2021, the sector is once again recording strong growth, a positive trend that largely surpassed the 2021 figures and put the level of activity nearly back at that seen before the crisis.

In 2022, in order to continuously monitor the evolution and trends of tourism demand in its markets, as well as visitor behaviour, Luxembourg for Tourism carried out targeted surveys and studies, some of which we have published. LFT has also collected and analysed data on travel intentions, searches and bookings of potential visitors for accommodation and flights (European Travel Commission, Deutsche Reiseanalyse). We continued to continuously monitor the online reputation of the destination, through sentiment analysis on social networks and review platforms.
