People come from far and wide to see the Mount Rushmore Memorial. It features a stone carving of four historic US presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln in the side of a mountain. While visiting, there is a lot to do. Explore the visitors center for a short documentary film, history exhibits about the building process and sculpture’s life, and check out the gift shops. There is no entrance fee, but there is a $10 parking fee (good for a year).
