After parking, head south and walk along a short trail that takes you through the public access tunnel that takes you under PCH and into the Historic District of Crystal Cove.

The Crystal Cove Historic District is one of my favorite parts of the park. This area has been preserved over the years, keeping the 20th century style cottages and is definitely fun to walk around. There is even a cottage converted into a restaurant called The Beachcomber sitting on the beach. There are cottage houses that have been preserved and refinished to rent out for overnight stays to the public!
