Mountain Biking in Copper Harbor Plan your route with detailed trailhead maps
Manganese Rd
Copper Harbor, MI
The Copper Harbor Trail System provides nearly 40 miles of singletrack and showcases a variety of riding options including downhill tracks, flow trails, traditional cross country, and burly technical options. All trails are well marked, but you should make sure you have access to a map at all times. The majority trails are intermediate, ranging from fast flow trails like Garden Brook to old-school chunky routes like Ma Maki. There are also many expert-level trails like Overflow and Flying Squirrel. Newer and less adventurous riders interested in easier trails can have fun on the Back 9 Trails (Little Loon, Moose on the Loose, and Chipmunk Run).

Take in spectacular views from the top of Brockway Mountain while riding The Edge trail
Manganese Rd
Copper Harbor, MI
This trail is a must-see at the Copper Harbor Trails system. One section of the trail is not difficult to ride, but is visually spectacular since it is along the edge of the Brockway Mountain ridge, and is literally "On The Edge." This is a popular photo-op spot. The other section of trail is very advanced and is recommended for expert riders only.
