One of my favorite ways to spend a day in Boston is by exploring the historic neighborhood of Beacon Hill. Start your day by grabbing fresh coffee and breakfast at the Paramount restaurant on Charles Street. It’s a walk-in only restaurant so no advanced reservations are needed. Once you’ve had breakfast, I recommend taking a walk down Charles Street and exploring the boutique shops and unique consignment stores. Afterwards, make your way up the hills to explore the historic red brick buildings and traditional gas lit lanterns. While here don’t forget to check out America’s most photographed street “Acorn Street”. Once done, spend the rest of your afternoon at the beacon hill Bookstore and cafe and then end your day in Beacon hill with a savory or sweet treat from the Nuts Factory.
