Located on Broadway, Clifton’s can be found nestled along the same street that boasts the magnificent Movie Palaces of Hollywood’s past. Clifton’s is one of the few buildings from that time that you can still enjoy to its full potential today! With a 40-foot, redwood tree as it’s focal point once inside, this eclectic night out destination has something for everyone including multiple stories, numerous themed rooms, and even a hidden tiki bar!

When you arrive at Clifton’s Republic, you will enter into the cabinet of curiosities that started welcoming visitor’s nearly a century ago. Head through the woodland themed Exposition Marketplace and The Monarch which to celebrate the Golden Age of the Golden State as well as  history of Clifton’s Republic. When you head up the stairs, you will arrive at the base of the 40-foot-redwood tree. A feat that all visitors take a moment to marvel at. As the night goes on, this area will turn into a lively dance floor! Grab a drink at the bar, explore the eclectic collection of taxidermy, or continue your journey to the next level.

When you make your way to the third floor, you’ll enter into Brookdale Ballroom. You’ll be transported back in time to the 1930s as a nod to when Clifton’s Republic opened in 1935 as “Clifton’s Brookdale.” The ballroom is designed to take you back to the heyday of lavish lounges and sophisticated soirées! Sit back and take in the grandeur of the decor or hit the dance floor and show off your best swing moves! The Brookdale Ballroom boasts Clifton’s second most iconic collectable - a taxidermy lion. You never know what you might find behind the various doors and secret passage ways through this four story delight. Be on the look out for the mirrored door when heading out of the Brookdale Ballroom. Behind the mirror, you’ll find a stairway to lead you to the hidden tiki bar!

When you arrive at the top of the stairs, pass through the map room, which is home to exotic treasures from from the Golden Age of Travel! As you head through the short, but winding hallway, you’ll arrive at Pacific Seas! This vintage inspired tiki bar has a motor boat turned DJ booth as the room’s centerpiece.

Part redwood forest part gothic cathedral, you’ve never sipped a cocktail in such an imaginative space. Be sure to take note of the rock at the center of the bar.
