Golf cart rentals are by the hour, and can not be rented by the day. Golf carts must stay within Avalon city limits (approximately 3 square miles). Many vacation rentals come with a golf cart. Golf carts are not rented by the day and residents are prohibited from renting their personal golf carts.

City of Avalon Seaside Transit by Circuit

City of Avalon launched its new on-demand, point-to-point public transportation service – COAST – City of Avalon Seaside Transit. Residents and visitors to Avalon can now enjoy rides to and from anywhere within Avalon's city limits with fares starting at $2 per rider. The new, 100 percent electric, transit system will improve reliability and function for resident and visitor transportation as well as continue to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Users can ride the new transit system by downloading the Ride Circuit app in the Apple App or Google Play Store. Standard hours of operation for COAST are 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.
