Day 2: Canim Lake to the Interlakes Area
Cariboo, BC
Many accommodators along this route have their own "secret" and not-so-secret fishing spots populated with Rainbow, Trout and Burbot. Even if you prefer to just relax on the shore, this area has all the comforts of a quiet day on the lake.

Day 3: The Interlakes to 100 Mile House
This part of the route includes multiple stops worth noting! Lone Butte, once the Cariboo's largest town and a busy BC rail station, is near the plug of an ancient volcano; Watch Lake/Green Lake offers horseback riding and bird watching against picturesque fall landscape; while other historic roadhouse locations and stops along the Cariboo Waggon Road stand as their own landmarks of the BC gold rush legacy.
