Oskaloosa is home to many murals, most of which you'll find around the town square. This mural, a collaboration between students from Mr. Kargol's art class at Oskaloosa High School, is located down The Alley towards Penn Central Mall. It's fittingly situated right next to our very own art center, FACE of Mahaska County.

This mural, painted by Brant Bollman, encapsulates Oskaloosa's rich history by calling back to the trolleys of the late 1800's. This location, Trolley Stop Alley, also has a trolley shaped dining area, conveniently located near coffee shops and restaurants, so people can eat and appreciate art at the same time.

Depicting notable congressman from Oskaloosa, John F. Lacey, this mural painted by Brant Bollman sits right across from Musco Lighting's Corp Building. Lacey is notable for his role in wildlife conservation and serving in the Civil War.

This mural is the finest example of Oskaloosa pride! In 1996, the community worked together to paint this picture on the side of Crouse's House of Flowers. It couldn't have been done without the hard work of dozens of Oskaloosans who took the time to paint in the hot, summer weather.
