Explore the Museum of Sonoma County’s exhibitions in depth with a guided tour. Their seasoned docents are trained to use Visual Thinking Strategies to engage students/groups and encourage visual literacy and critical thinking. Each single exhibition tour takes 35-45 minutes on average but can be adjusted to your schedule. Hands-on activities are tailored to the exhibitions and take 30-60 minutes. The Museum typically has 2-3 exhibitions on view. The Sculpture Garden is available for picnics and breaks. Tours must be requested at least two weeks in advance.
