The Nara Nature Trail Boardwalk is a 4,500 foot long wooden boardwalk running along both banks of the Pilgrim River. Observe nature by sitting on the many benches along the boardwalk, fish off one of the fishing piers, or launch a canoe or kayak. Nara Nature Park is a 100 acre nature park located two miles east of the Michigan Tech University campus at the east end of the Houghton Waterfront Trail.
