Escambia County offers two dog parks on the Gulf. The parks are open May 1 - Oct. 31 from 7 a.m. to sunset and Nov. 1 to April 30 from sunrise to sunset. Pets are welcome at designated dog beaches located at lots 21.5 and 28.5, all other public beach areas and parks are off limits to pets. Beach Dog Park Rules All pets must be on a leash Each dog must have proper tags on their leash or collar You must clean up after your pets Violations will be cited by Escambia County Animal Control Officers Pets are only allowed at the designated dog parks

Johnson Beach is a designated recreational area in Perdido Key on the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The location provides lifeguards, facilities and a parking lot and is ideal for water-based recreational activities and hiking. The park includes parking areas, seven accessible boardwalks, a pavilion, and a 1/2-mile bike/pedestrian trail.

Located at Sandy Key Dr. in Perdido Key is Perdido Key Beach Access #1. This beach access is a sand walkover to the Gulf. There are parking spaces along the side as well a portable restroom.

2 miles past Perdido Key State Park is a peaceful beach with plenty of space to lay out and relax.

Located on Perdido Key Dr., Perdido Key Beach Access #4 is a paved parking lot with 35 parking spaces. There are portable restrooms as well as a small boardwalk walkover to access the beach. On Perdido Key access point #4, rescue tubes are installed to help distressed swimmers and it is handicap accessible.
