What better way to spend a day than on the water? We have a number of beautiful lakes just 20 minutes up the road from town where you can kayak, paddleboard, or rent a boat. These lakes are not accessible during the winter, so please keep that in mind!

Day in the Snow?

Winter in Bishop is relatively mild. We only get a couple of feet of snow throughout the entire winter. However, you can drive 20 minutes up into the mountains to play in the fluffy white stuff or drive 45 minutes up to Mammoth Mountain for a day of skiing and or snowboarding
